How we began
CHICAGO PEDIATRIC ORTHOTICS (AKA PR Orthotics & OT, LLC)
After working at a local children's hospital for nearly 20 years providing custom orthopedic/orthotic devices to children, Pat Rogel realized there was a need for a community based pediatric orthotics facility to offer children the highest levels of knowledge, expertise and caring at a facility that has easy access, flexible scheduling, and ample free parking. It has been a very successful endeavor and we are now celebrating 8 years.
Chicago Pediatric Orthotics is the only exclusively pediatric private O & P practice in Illinois.

Who we are:
Pat Rogel, CO, OTR founded Chicago Pediatric Orthotics in 2018. For over 25 years she has specialized in providing custom orthotic devices to children. She began her pediatric career as a practitioner at Lurie Children's Hospital, where she worked for 20 years. She founded Chicago Pediatric Orthotics to provide easy access, speedy scheduling and excellent care to children in Chicago and the suburbs.
Ryan Schuetzle, CPO, is a highly experienced pediatric orthotic specialist with over 10 years of expertise in the field. He has extensive training in managing complex conditions such as scoliosis, clubfoot, cerebral palsy, and plagiocephaly. Beyond his professional work, Ryan has a keen interest in gelli printing, exploring museums, traveling, and nurturing a growing collection of plants.
Margo Chambers joined Chicago Pediatric Orthotics in the summer of 2024. A people person, she looks forward to welcoming new and returning families to our practice. A life-long Chicagoan, Margo enjoys reading, knitting, hiking and travel. She lives in the north shore area with her husband and occasionally, their college aged daughter.
Lori Switzer has been with Chicago Pediatric Orthotics for 7 years. She manages the front office and handles insurance and billing. Lori is happy to answer to any insurance and billing questions you may have. She loves meeting families and seeing the children grow. She lives in Evanston with her husband, two kids, and their dog, Duke. She loves to travel, spend time with her family, and is obsessed with needlepoint after teaching herself during COVID from YouTube videos.
